Cantering Caterer will transport food safely in our vans

We are all so fortunate, especially in Fairfield County!  We are blessed with an economy insulated from hardship more than most.  The beautiful coast, the arts, the amazing schools and activities…  The list goes on. 

There is a group of people that live and work, go to the store, walk at the beach, hug their children just as we do.  From struggling two parent families, elderly, out of work, down on their luck, they are here, next to us.  You may have been hungry this week - so you likely got something to eat.  Some of our friends do not have that option.  We are hungry, they are starving.

The Cantering Caterer will lead the charge to donate safely held leftover food from our events to a local shelter.  After calling shelters for 3 years trying to get someone to put to use our leftovers we have finally connected with a one that feeds 1100 people twice per day!  This is only one shelter and they prepare and serve Two Thousand Two Hundred Meals per day!!  Our sister company, The RiverVine has made the same pledge.  Now we ask you!  We can make a difference.  Today.

The Cantering Caterer will coordinate donations from restaurants and caterers in Fairfield County.  We will absorb all costs involved with transportation; we have plenty of refrigeration, and plenty of eager staff available to help. Please consider helping us further this cause - there is NO REASON whatsoever that together we can’t feed every single starving person in Fairfield County starting tomorrow!  Let’s take hunger off the table!
